THE KADOKAWA NETWORK

Kadokawa Holdings, Inc. was formed on April 1, 2003 as a holding company for the Kadokawa Group, which includes Kadokawa Shoten Publishing Co., Ltd., Media Works Inc., SS Communications Inc., Kadokawa-Daiei Pictures, Inc. and Building and Book Center Co., Ltd. This new management structure, which aims to generate greater corporate value for the group while allowing each business the latitude to capitalize on its individual strengths and initiative, is designed to give us the ideal framework to take on the challenges that lie ahead.

While preserving its well-established position as a traditional publishing house, Kadokawa Shoten Publishing continues to expand its business with a media-mix strategy focused on deriving synergies from movies and paperbacks as well as development of magazine and other operations.
Offers bookbinding services mainly for publications of the Kadokawa Group.
Offers integrated services, including the provision of content and website design, over a digital platform.

Media Works’ operations focus on the Dengeki series of video game software-related magazines. The company is also building a character goods business centered on its various publications.
